Systematic Review on Sustainable Healthcare Practices: A Bibliometric Approach

In order to map the research trends in this field, the goal of this paper is to analyse the body of literature on sustainable healthcare practices using bibliometric analysis and network visualization. In this work, research literature obtained from the Scopus and Web of Science databases between 2003 and 2023 is subjected to bibliometric analysis methods. Indicators like changes in research production and citations, top contributing authors, countries, journals, keyword co-occurrences, and co-authorship ties among contributing countries are all evaluated in the study. The findings shows, the USA and UK are now leading researcher in this area, with Australia and Canada also playing a significant role. The field of sustainable healthcare practices encompasses a number of different fields, including public health, healthcare delivery, major clinical trials, questionnaires, middle-aged adult male and female demographics, clinical practices, psychology, and public health education. There is a tone of opportunity for research in the future that connects sustainable healthcare to these subjects in terms of authors, journals, and organizations that may offer knowledge and possible direction for future exploration by detailing the research’s organizational framework.
