Clinical Judgement and Decision-Making
摘要
In this chapter, we visit the psychology of decision-making. We define clinical judgement and describe the ways in which it is learned and applied in clinical practice. We report on the limitations of clinical judgement, exploring different cognitive biases that often hinder this important process. Finally, we explore the role of clinical judgement in modern medical systems, where technological advancements have complemented—and often supplemented—certain aspects of clinical practice.
