Features of Modern International and National Banking Regulation
摘要
Banking activity is crucial for the functioning of any country’s economy, including its international operations, due to the various functions and tasks it performs. It also holds significant social importance and responsibility. Given these factors, coupled with the inherent risks of the global economy and banking itself, it is essential to develop and implement general international and national standards for banking, as well as for banking regulation and supervision, along with relevant mechanisms and tools. Furthermore, continuous regulation and supervision of banking activities at both international and national levels by the appropriate bodies and structures are necessary. This chapter is dedicated to researching and clarifying these issues.
