Conclusions

This chapter sums up the findings of the individual chapters and presents some general conclusions. It also presents a number of questions identified by this project that deserve further academic scrutiny in a changing global situation with new economic and security challenges posed by the ongoing deterioration in relations between the West and the rest, first and foremost China and Russia.
