An Iterative Block Image Compressive Sensing Method for Hybrid TV Image De-Noising

摘要

The captured images mostly suffer from additive noise present in the environment, making image denoising a challenging field of research. Recently, image compressive sensing (CS) based demising methods have gained popularity as viable options. This paper presents a method that combines total variation (TV) based image denoising with DWT-BCS based compressive sensing techniques. The paper aims to design a hybrid approach using TV-based regularization for denoising, and it additionally considers three block CS approaches in transform domains to enhance performance. The proposed hybrid method demonstrates superior performance in noisy environments. Results are evaluated, and effectiveness is compared using PSNR and SSIM analysis with visual artifacts. However, it should be noted that the elapsed time is more by using this proposed method.
