Predator an Innovative Routing Protocol for Efficient Node Exploration and Faulty Link Detection in Wireless Sensor Network Environments

Continuous monitoring is mandatory to ensure the safety and work perfection in risky zones. A specialized technology for continuous monitoring is an important aspect in all the domains. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are the cluster of independent nodes that monitors the environmental changes, performs data gathering and transmission of data. The primary challenge in networking environment is efficient data transmission. Bio-inspired computing, a methodology which is inspired from the behaviors of living organisms. Every environment is not same, the existing protocols may not adapts in all the conditions. A specialized protocol is required, this research paper introduces PREDATOR a dynamic routing protocol inspired from the distinct behavior and lifestyle of an animal which is well known for its attitude and courage the Lion.
