It is the cradle of the oldest civilizations, full of cultural achievements that influenced the world’s cultures. It contains monuments and graves of great poets, jurists, and scholars in language and various sciences. The following are the most important types: The development of tourism facilities could benefit various parts of Iraq, creating the foundation for applying the benefits of tourism development to the country’s general areas and provinces. Essential services and the tourism investment system will be compatible with international standards to secure various types of tourism (religious, cultural, archaeological, leisure, medical, political, and sports tourism) in Iraq.
