A Methodological Tool for Constructing Common Understanding of a BIM Project

This article presents the methodological tool “BIMSynchro,” designed to address the need for cognitive synchronization in BIM projects among stakeholders. Implementing “BIMSynchro” aims to move from individual thinking to collective reflection by confronting viewpoints and gradually identifying contradictions, information gaps, and errors within project documents. Ultimately, this process guides stakeholders to a shared understanding and interpretation of encountered problems and challenges in BIM projects.
