From the Virtual Model to the Visualization
摘要
The methodology used for disseminating and communicating the research is detailed. The chapter explores augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) within the metaverse or multiverse. AR is ideal for on-site visualization of digital models and historical changes, integrating digital markers and computer vision for precise architectural overlay. VR offers an immersive remote experience via VR headsets, allowing interaction with 3D models using controllers and motion sensors. Research is integrated into the “Over the Reality” metaverse, utilizing Unreal Engine 5.0 with Nanite and Lumen technologies for detailed and dynamic rendering. This environment supports visualizing historical transformations and restoration techniques through advanced visualization methods.
