Different Surveying Techniques
摘要
After an in-depth historical and archival research, the study of the Grande Archivio complex included a practical phase with two technologies for surveying the main parts of the building, which were then applied to virtual and augmented reality. The first technique is image-based photogrammetry, performed with a reflex camera, a 360 camera (Insta 360 One X2), and a drone (Dji Mini 2), supported by the Lidar system of the iPhone 12 Pro Max for architectural details. The second technique is Laser Scanning (BLK 360 Leica). Additionally, virtual drone photogrammetry with Google Earth Pro and Google Maps was used. The techniques are described by comparing the acquisition methods and highlighting their strengths and weaknesses.
