A Study on Cinematographic Approaches in 360-Degree Drama Content Production
摘要
The emergence of action cameras has made it possible for anyone to easily capture 360-degree videos. Due to the unique characteristics of 360-degree videos, which differ from traditional video production and directing methods, a new approach to storytelling is required. This study has conducted an analysis of video productions through practical filmmaking. In this paper, we have produced 16 360-degree video works and analyzed their camera work and two directing elements. Camera work involves camera position, movement, and scene transitions. We investigated these aspects. The two directing elements are screen division and gaze guidance. We examined whether these elements were utilized within the works. Based on these findings, this paper deliberates on directing techniques for 360-degree videos.
