This chapter discusses the role of physical examination in modern medicine amidst ongoing advancements in diagnostic technologies. Even as the reliability of physical examination may be limited by a lack of evidence or surpassed by diagnostic tools, the value of clinical experience in conducting examinations should not be overlooked. To define and analyze clinical experience scientifically, a systematic and comprehensive approach is necessary, considering the intricacies and variations inherent in clinical practice.
