Modeling and Design of TMDs
摘要
Having explored the theoretical aspects of Tuned Mass Dampers (TMDs), the focus now shifts from theory to application, implementing these potent vibration control devices in both research and practical engineering projects. In the practical design and integration of TMDs, engineers frequently face multifaceted challenges related to precise modeling and efficient design realization. This chapter intends to not only highlight these challenges but also provide methodical, step-by-step guidance for modeling and designing TMD systems.
