Strategic Leadership and Its Role in Crisis Management in the Municipality of Hebron

This study aimed to explore the role of strategic leadership in crisis management in the Municipality of Hebron. The researchers employed a descriptive-analytical approach, encompassing a study population of 930 employees. A simple random sample of 210 valid questionnaires was selected, resulting in a response rate of 22.6%. A questionnaire consisting of 72 items was developed, reviewed by six experts for modifications, and statistically validated. The results indicated a statistically significant role of strategic leadership in crisis management, with a p-value of 0.000 and a correlation coefficient of 0.906. Additionally, a moderate role was found in risk management, with a correlation coefficient of 0.646. The study recommends enhancing strategic leadership practices through leader training, developing management information systems, establishing specialized research centers, and increasing financial and material support to improve the crisis management system and the quality of administrative decisions.
