Exploring Drivers of Online Infaq Intentions: Perspectives from the Muslims of Developing Country
摘要
Indonesia has consistently achieved the highest score on the World Giving Index (WGI) for six years. Nevertheless, Indonesia is also among the 100 poorest countries in the world. Muslims are instructed to assist others, including the practice of infaq. To facilitate the practice of infaq among Muslims, numerous institutions in Indonesia have established online platforms for infaq. This study examines the factors that influence Muslims’ intentions to carry out online infaq in Indonesia. This study combines the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and S-INF. 401 Muslims in Indonesia participated in filling out this study survey. Valid data is processed and analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the analysis show that social influence (S-INF) has a significant positive effect on perceived usefulness (P-USE), perceived ease of use (P-EAS), and Intention. The results of the analysis also show that P-USE influences intention.
