Digital Transformation in Professional Education: Status, Standards and Strategies for Airport Operation Courses

Continuous updating on concepts, technology and equipment and clinical training are the benchmark in Professional Education. Achieving this benchmark has the limitations of economy, safety, security, and regulations. Panacea for these limitations is the Digital transformation. “Digital transformation” introduces and/or integrates the digital technology in that field, enhances the process of development and improves the delivery of the product or service. Airport operation courses provide technical know-how for a seamless flow of passengers and cargo in the international airport is a pivotal course that makes use of Digital transformation of education. Airport operation courses use Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR) and Extended Reality (XR) to provide the learner with the experience of Immersive Learning. Immersive Learning literally (rather Virtually) immerses the learner into the learning process to provide a real-time experience in a virtual world through Digital Platforms.
