How to Restore the Rule of Law

In this chapter, we show how building on Austrian libertarianism and notably the normative turn from Mises to Rothbard provides the conceptual tools to overcome Hobbes’ dilemma and to set up a stable rule of law without the monopoly of the central state. Finally, we propose concrete steps towards a new Enlightenment that can achieve the goal of resuming the path of modernity by restoring science and the rule of law.
