Laser Treatment of Tattoo

Tattoos have become increasingly common in recent years, and their numbers continue to grow. Throughout the history of tattoos, there has always been a demand for their removal. Modern picosecond lasers have emerged as the preferred method for tattoo removal due to their superior effectiveness compared to previously utilized methods. In order to achieve successful tattoo removal, it is crucial to have a comprehensive understanding of laser principles and their application. Furthermore, knowledge regarding the tattoo’s origin, color, presence of scars, layering, and location and the patient’s Fitzpatrick skin type can significantly enhance the likelihood of achieving satisfactory results.
