Update on Lasers and Energy-Based Devices for the Treatment of Vascular Lesions

This book chapter focuses on the treatment of common vascular lesions with lasers and energy-based devices. The chapter first describes the factors to consider when choosing an appropriate device and treatment protocol, followed by an overview of the various vascular lasers. Finally, it reviews the treatment of port-wine stains and hemangiomas, which are the two most common indications for the use of vascular lasers.
