Play4SPI
摘要
In principle, play can develop, thematize and concretize another possible reality. The game tends to attack existing concepts of reality, disputes their claim to universality, resists the requirements of bindingness, softens and relativizes [1]. The SPI Manifesto, initially proposed in 2009, emphasizes the importance of involving people actively, achieving business success, and embracing change. However, to enhance the effectiveness of SPI, we propose an innovative approach that integrates agile games using some elements of learning theories. The paper will not deal with the gamification of SPICE [2] or with game development. It focusses on the learning of people in the Improvement context. Agile games serve as experiential learning tools, promoting collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. By integrating games into SPI workshops, practitioners can reinforce SPI values and principles and enhance team dynamics. The paper will discuss some games that support SPI values and principles. Learning theories provide a foundation for effective game-based learning. Constructivist theories emphasize active participation, reflection, and contextual learning—aligning with SPI principles. Social learning theories highlight the importance of collaboration, feedback, and shared experiences—essential elements of Agile games. To strengthen SPI practices, we recommend to integrate games into SPI workshops to reinforce principles and foster engagement. The paper will give a view on Lego® serious Play® Featureban simulation and others.
