An Interval Valued Pythagorean Fuzzy AHP-TOPSIS Based Multi-criterion Group Decision Making Framework for Empowerment of Women in India
摘要
This study attempts to identify the crucial factor that will empower women the most by combining the two multi criteria decision making methodologies (MCDM) namely Analytic Hierarchy process (AHP) and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) under the Pythagorean Fuzzy (PF) environment. Based on the interval valued PF numbers, decisions of different professionals are expressed in linguistic variables in the suggested methodology. Firstly, six numbers of the prominent criteria has been chosen and their criteria weights are established using the interval-valued Pythagorean Fuzzy AHP technique. Secondly, six domains for empowerment of women such as in Politics, Sports, Administrative service, Media or Journalism, Social work and technological field are collected as alternatives. Then the Pythagorean Fuzzy TOPSIS technique has been used to rank these alternatives in order to suitability and likelihood of empowering women. Lastly, sensitivity analysis is performed to ensure the result reliability by leaving out robustness verification requirements.
