摘要

Public health inspectors play a critical role in controlling food-borne disease outbreaks. However, their ability to effectively manage these events can be hampered by limitations in task scheduling. This study addresses this challenge by investigating the specific issues inspectors face when planning their activities during an outbreak. We identify key areas for improvement and propose a comprehensive roadmap to guide public health inspectors in optimizing their activities. Additionally, this research delves into specific task scheduling problems commonly encountered by inspectors during outbreaks. By addressing these challenges, we aim to equip public health inspectors with the tools and strategies necessary to control foodborne disease outbreaks and protect public health more efficiently.
