This chapter examines Pálína’s experience of farming, which was intertwined with her economic agency and taking care of the family’s finances. It also explores how unforeseeable incidents, some of a rather tragic nature, caused Pálína to ultimately become a businesswoman who ran a family enterprise. This chapter is thus crucial for how Pálína’s entrepreneurial identity should be understood.
