Combined with the current situation of teaching practical aspects of China’s mechanical drawing course and the analysis of undergraduates’ practical ability, the team of mechanical drawing course in Northeastern University has explored a reform path that highlights the training of students’ practical skills and the cultivation of their innovative ability. Through the teaching practice and the feedback of students’ learning effect evaluation in recent years, the practical teaching reform of our school not only improves students’ interest in course learning, but also enables them to master and apply the computer drawing software to solve practical engineering problems, which significantly improves the teaching effect. It is of great significance to cultivate students’ innovative ability and practical ability to solve complex engineering problems, and has a good prospect of popularization and application.
