Several Applications of Geometric Computing in Visual Measurement

摘要

With the continuous breakthrough and improvement of artificial intelligence technology, vision measurement technology has also been widely used in various production and life fields due to its non-contact, fast speed, suitable accuracy and strong anti-interference ability. This paper analyzes the basic principles of visual measurement technology, summarizes the common points in various visual measurement application scenarios, provides an in-depth analysis of various computational problems faced in visual measurement from the perspective of geometric computation, and summarizes several typical geometric computational models in visual measurement. Finally, the intrinsic properties of geometric computation in various visual measurement problems are further verified by a visual measurement problem in agricultural products and a dimensional measurement problem in mechanical parts. The concept of geometric computation for solving geometrical problems is proposed as a solution to the problem of metrics and localization between images and shapes with geometric computation, further highlighting the advantages of geometric computation in the field of image processing and computation.
