摘要

Ramps are elements of vertical circulation adopted mainly in modern architecture. Among the design strategies employed by Le Corbusier, one that stands out is the adoption of ramps. The object of this paper is the projects with ramp created by the architect Le Corbusier. The main objective is to identify the predominant geometry of these ramps and their relationship with the concept of promenade architecturale. The methodological procedures were i. bibliographic review; ii. survey of projects and drawings; iii. visits to buildings and production of photographs; iv. creation of 3D geometric models; v. analysis of the projects; vi. elaboration of texts. The results of this research reveal that the ramp in Corbusier selected projects was designed to connect more significant spaces without adhering to a strict rule.
