Use ChatGPT to Inspect Software Developed by Novice Programmers

This research paper explores the use of ChatGPT to help novice software developers inspect the source code of other applications created by other novice software developers. It also uses the ChatGPT application to generate a possible solution and analyze the source code generated by ChatGPT and examines how it can be leveraged to provide feedback, debugging, and im-provement of source code proposed by novice developers in small proposed projects. The research highlights the potential of ChatGPT as a tool to create applications and compare other applications developed by third parties to improve the proposed source code and improve the level of knowledge. The research was applied to 52 new developers of the Technical University of Ambato of the Software Engineering career. Small exercises were presented and solved by the 52 new developers and then the code was inspected for feedback and improvement in the knowledge of sentences or programming logic.
