摘要

Sleep apnea is a syndrome that causes one to experience difficulty breathing. The proposed system’s main objective is to protect infants from sleep apnea syndrome. It seeks to detect this disease effectively by measuring real-time values and alerting caregivers. Initially, to monitoring prototype was developed that has a set of sensors to alert in case of sleep apnea in neonates. For this, we used a respiratory rate and pulse sensor to detect the heart rate. An interface was also made so the user could visualize the values and turn the alert unit on. For future projects, we are looking to implement a Bluetooth module to make the device wireless and modify the alert unit to turn on the light in the room where the caregivers will be.
