摘要

The present text will discuss the influence of video games on education as a teachinglearning method, facilitating the development of creativity and skills in children and young people. Moreover, it aids teachers in the implementation of innovative teaching strategies. This research relies on literature obtained from various articles in specialized databases, all of which are relevant to the proposed topic. Numerous benefits have been identified that assist students in cultivating skills such as logical thinking, analysis, synthesis, and creativity. Video games have the capacity to foster skills that can be applied in real-life scenarios, including motor coordination, language decoding, and comprehension of complex processes. Minecraft, for instance, offers an optimal platform for promoting literacy development, whereas Kahoot serves as a creative and engaging platform for mutual interaction between students and teachers. Consequently, video games represent a valuable strategy to be implemented in the educational domain, given that many children and young individuals already engage with technology, thereby constituting a creative means for their educational advancement.
