摘要

In the different value creation systems, the emergence and gradual integration of Industry 4.0 and Logistics 4.0 technologies has brought the requirement of achieving a high degree of digitalization ever closer. Among other innovative ambitions, an example is that the development of cyber-physical systems has emerged as a goal. This requires companies to use a combination of different technologies to connect physical devices and different computing components to test and control the physical system. However, one of the most crucial steps is the data collection. Moreover, there is a growing need to create a digital twin of the physical system in the different value creation systems. These solutions are capable of mapping the real value creation processes in real-time in a digital model with a closed loop. All these high-tech innovations require a high level of transparency in a digital term. The basis for the digitalization of intralogistics processes is the identification of potential data sources that play an important role in the value creation processes. In this paper, we explore what transparency means in intralogistics as a first step towards digitization, we will introduce the definition of “digital transparency” in this field and investigate how it is possible to measure and quantify this effect using different indicators in a specific model.
