Examination of Domestic Transport Parameters in the Light of Road Freight Transport
摘要
Creating synchromodality, moving goods faster, assessing and evaluating driver workload, assessing process reliability, and promoting sustainability are priorities and essential topics for creating and operating future freight transport systems. This research aims to develop an approach that will help the transport community keep freight on the move by ensuring that drivers have adequate working conditions and rest. To this end, two main themes were explored through a questionnaire survey. The first was to assess the digital status of companies in the sector. The logistics sector in Hungary is currently below the European average in terms of digitalisation, which in many cases makes planning more complex, and integration into international networks may involve more administrative hours, so the development of this area is essential for long-term development. The second main area is the assessment of general freight transport capabilities and characteristics, such as the goods transported or the parameters of the transport vehicles and fleet, and questions on drivers’ working conditions, also using a questionnaire. The questionnaires and the analysis of the responses to the workshop will be used to provide answers to the questionnaire and the possibilities for the development of intermodal transport in the domestic context among transport companies.
