Implementation of the Ideas of Green Economy and Corporate Social Responsibility in the Activities of Cooperative Organizations

The research analyzes the basic principles of green economy and the possibility of their implementation in the ideas of corporate social responsibility of business, including cooperative organizations. Green economy is understood as a model of economic management aimed at improving the welfare of society, reducing environmental risks, and creating social guarantees to achieve sustainable development of society. Corporate responsibility is manifested in measures of interest to employees, shareholders, participants of labor relations in the organization, and society. This interest involves caring for employees and their families, veterans of enterprises and organizations, as well as creating social infrastructure. The level of occupational health and safety, opportunities for professional growth of employees, and social and financial guarantees for employees form an indicator of corporate social responsibility. Socially conscious business conduct should become a determinant of the successful development of entrepreneurial activity through sustainable development of society and improvement of the level and quality of life of citizens. As a socially oriented form of farming and business, tested by historical realities, economic crises, and political conjuncture, cooperation can become a reference model of economic management in the context of green economy and social corporate responsibility.
