Digital Innovations for the Development of Cooperation in Russia

The subject of this scientific research is the totality of similar phenomena and situations demonstrating successful practices of the implementation of innovations in the context of digital transformation of business processes in the contemporary economy. The research object is innovative tools and mechanisms for utilizing digital technologies in cooperation. The current issue is associated with understanding and identifying adequate regulatory innovations based on digital technologies that have a significant impact on the transformation of socio-economic interactions among business participants in the cooperative sector, aiming for greater profitability. The research methodology is based on a logical analysis of the forms and methods of using digital innovations in the cooperative sector of the economy. The conceptual presentation of the purpose, content, and research methods is supported by the analysis and utilization of objective, accurate, and systematized information about the ongoing processes of successful innovation transformation in the real sector of the economy. The results of the analysis of empirical material on innovative processes, the implementation and utilization of digital technologies by major online retailers, with certain adaptations, are considered as possible innovative forms and methods of conducting business in various cooperation sectors. Such an approach can be considered as the foundation for creating a digital strategy for implementing innovations in the cooperative industry. Such an approach has never been considered in scientific literature, as evidenced by the absence of scientific publications on this subject, emphasizing the novelty of this scientific research presented in this research. The authors believe that the implementation of the proposed development strategy for cooperation, where innovations are regarded as new tools and mechanisms for the digital transformation of business at regional and, subsequently, federal levels, can lead to significant positive changes in the cooperative sector of the economy in today’s conditions.
