Reasons for not Using the Energy Potential of Residual Biomass Generated During the Contour Pruning of Oil-Bearing Roses as Heating Fuel

The article presents the results of a study of cut biomass generated during the annual contour pruning of the massifs planted with oil rose in the Republic of Bulgaria and the reasons for its non-use as fuel for heating. The monitoring period is 2015–2024. Pruning methods and ways of post-processing this biomass are described. Its processing and utilization, as well as the damages resulting from these actions of the owners and users of the arrays. Proposals have been made highlighting the benefits of a wider use of this biomass, not just the oleaginous inflorescences.
