Noise Effect of Tractors Purchased “Second Hand” upon the Agricultural Workers

The article presents the results of the research and comparison of the noise produced by three tractors purchased “second-hand” with different engine powers and years of manufacture. The results of the measurements made with the same scheme and location of the measurement points are compared. Areas exceeding the 80 dB threshold and the need for workers to wear personal protective equipment are defined. The obtained results of the measurements were used to make recommendations for monitoring the change in noise pollution, to protect the health and working capacity of agricultural workers.
