Use of Fruit Pomace in the Production of Selected Cosmetics

Constantly developing branches of the food industry, increasing environmental pollution as well as the fashion for smart-, novel- and superfoods, which appeared some time ago - force modern scientists to constantly look for new, more creative solutions for effective management of waste as additives to food, or functional food. What is regarded as waste in one factory may be a valuable raw material with high nutritional value in another. The current goal of food producers is completely waste-free production, using post-production waste as an enriching raw material for popular, widely available food products, and being used for new food sources (e.g. edible insects), which can be used both as food - in itself, as well as a valuable feed additive.
