Investigation of the Parameters of a Conveyor for Transportation of Bulk Agricultural Materials with a Bladed Working Body

The article presents a new design of a conveyor with a bladed working body, as well as a theoretical and experimental investigation of its operation, in particular its performance when transporting bulk agricultural materials. The article offers a new design of a conveyor with a bladed working body. An analytical relationship has been obtained to determine the productivity of a conveyor with a bladed working body. Based on the results of experimental studies, the corresponding regression equation and response surface were constructed to establish the impact of the controlled factors upon the performance value. Analysis of the above-mentioned regression equations shows that the main factor influencing the increase in productivity Q is the value of the factor x3 (n) of the rotation frequency of the bladed working body. Increasing the conveyor inclination angle x2 (β) leads to a decrease in productivity. An increase in the casing diameter x1 (D) leads to an increase in conveyor productivity.
