In this chapter, the typical section model for an airfoil is presented. Principles of structural dynamics are visited and applied to the dynamical analysis of a two-degree-of-freedom airfoil model. A typical aeroelastic section model for an airfoil with a control surface is also derived. Finally, nonlinear issues regarding the typical section are discussed.

摘要

In this chapter, the typical section model for an airfoil is presented. Principles of structural dynamics are visited and applied to the dynamical analysis of a two-degree-of-freedom airfoil model.
