This chapter addresses static aeroelasticity problems, starting with a straightforward example of an airfoil in torsional equilibrium. Following this, the issue of aeroelastic divergence is explored. The final two-dimensional airfoil model examines a scenario involving a mobile flight control surface, which allows for verifying the reverse conditions and the effectiveness of the controls under the aeroelastic influence. We then move on to three-dimensional models of finite wings, discussing their stability and load distribution characteristics.
