Atomic Swaps for Boneh–Lynn–Shacham (BLS) Based Blockchains
摘要
Atomic swaps are crucial in blockchains, enabling secure coin exchanges between users; either both parties receive their coins, or the transaction fails entirely. While the BLS signature scheme offers advantages for this application, existing BLS-compatible atomic swap protocols often rely on third-party intermediaries. This reliance can introduce points of failure and dependencies that detract from the decentralized nature of blockchains. Our novel protocol addresses this limitation, fully leveraging the signature aggregation capabilities of BLS for a self-contained solution. This design ensures seamless integration within any blockchain system supporting BLS without the need for timelock scripting functionalities.
