One Station One Product—An Analysis of Impulse Buying Behavior Towards the OSOP Items
摘要
The Government of India (GOI) has launched numerous programmes to maximize rural India's economic potential in line with the campaign “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat” to build domestic industries and make India self-sufficient. The idea of “vocal for local” is to recognize the true potential of regional craftspeople, agro businesses, and rural entrepreneurship in promoting economic progress. The railway department started the “One Station One Product” movement, which aims to increase local employment, income, skills, and quality of life by establishing a business ecosystem and a reliable marketing platform. This would promote distinctive regional products to a large audience, such as train passengers passing through the stations, and assist in the development of more effective logistics for farmers and agro-enterprises. The purpose of the study is to understand and evaluate the various aspects of the One Station, One Product initiative as a part of “Athma Nirbhar Bharat” and to find out the effects on promoting locally produced indigenous goods and employment generation which can generate income or economic growth of beneficiaries. Further examine the perception and impulsivity of travelers, visitors, railway vendors, and railroad staff who are walking through the stations about One Station One Product and study the challenges faced by the beneficiaries of the One Station One Product scheme.
