In the ever-evolving landscape of governance, the adoption of technology plays a pivotal role in shaping the agility of governments worldwide. This paper explores the importance of adopting technology on the governments’ service delivery, focusing on the Kingdom of Bahrain's e-government strategy as a case study. The study employed qualitative research methods, and thematic analysis was conducted on the responses of 15 participants. Findings revealed six major sub-themes under the overarching theme of “The Importance of Adopting Technology in the Government’s Service Delivery.“ These sub-themes include better coordination among government agencies, better policymaking, enhanced transparency, faster and more efficient service delivery, increased citizen participation, and improved accessibility and convenience of government services. The analysis underscores the unanimous agreement among participants regarding the paramount importance of technology adoption in government service delivery.
