Group Dynamics and Its Role in IT Projects Timeline
摘要
The presented research work ascertains how group dynamics affect the management and schedule of IT projects. It is essential to take note of the significance and qualities of each component in order to better understand its impact. The current research provides a critical evaluation of the definition and features of the phrase “group dynamics”. In order to see how internal and external factors affect the behaviour of individual group members as well as the group as a whole, the comparison of groups and teams is presented in the research work. As per the view, the decision-making process as a whole is influenced by a number of elements, including psychological, cultural, goal-related, and associational features. Moreover, groups and their internal dynamics are where the concept of a team originally surfaced. An examination of the differences between groups and teams revealed that, in an organizational context, teams are more inclusive and structured than groups. Every organization usually forms teams or groups to accomplish a variety of objectives and goals. A selection of the best and most knowledgeable experts is made to guarantee that the tasks are efficiently carried out within the discussed scope. The study demonstrates how crucial it is to enhance group dynamics to guarantee proper project execution. Several theories that highlight the factors that strongly influence group dynamics and how they might be managed over time are included. The presented research work exhibits that the positive relationship between the senior management and the team members enhance project success, both in the present and future. The study concludes that group dynamics significantly influence project completion within set deadlines, which can undoubtedly benefit the organization’s future. Negative group dynamics put the project’s completion at risk which could lead to disastrous consequences. Therefore, strengthening interpersonal relationships is crucial to finishing the project within the allotted time frames.
