摘要

Due to increasing student numbers in higher education, student populations are becoming more diverse. This trend has also led to create more flexible modes of education and personalized learning trajectories. Moreover, in order to offer flexibility in terms of time and place, the need of an instructional approach that combines face-to-face and online laboratory activities is increasing. Particularly in applied physics teaching, the design of hybrid learning using the remote laboratories resources in response to student diversity is then an interesting way forward. Nevertheless, it is crucial to look at the perceptions and learning of the students who are at the heart of this design. One of the main advantages of hybrid learning is that learners have easier access to assistance from trainers during face-to-face sessions to support remote activities, a benefit that is more challenging to achieve in fully remote learning environments.
