The World Pendulum Alliance
摘要
The World Pendulum @elab was a project conducted by Instituto Superior Técnico and funded by Erasmus+, with the objective to enable the partners in the deployment of remote experiments, the production of related materials and their use in STEM teaching in parallel with the creation of science dissemination centers initiated by this unique world experiment. This project implements the first intercontinental network of remote experiments for education and produced a set of pedagogical materials and tools for their support (the experiments hardware, software tools, didactic contents, and new ways of using the pendulums). Here we present these major results and contextualize them in the project’s evolution and explain how they are still being used after the project’s completion. The project leaded to the World Pendulum Alliance foundation, putting in place an informal organization federating the founders and new associated partners, currently serving more than 15000 experiments every year.
