Training in practice management (PM) enables Family Medicine residency graduates to contribute to successful practices. It also has indirect benefits in promoting better self-directed learning and protecting family physicians from burnout. Although there is no consensus on the best way to conduct PM training, this chapter describes one residency program’s experience in designing and maintaining a successful practice management rotation.
