Improvement of Explosive Technologies by Using Specific Phenomena in Explosion Geodynamics

Peculiarities of the development of deformation processes in soil with unstable structural connections under the explosion conditions are considered. The dynamics of the compaction zone development due to pulsation processes in the gas cavity and rheological phenomena during the formation of the region of residual deformations were experimentally researched. The ambiguous nature of the deformed soil layers displacement in the zone of explosion impact was established. The formation mechanism of the field of deformations of the explosion zone of an elongated camouflet charge of limited length in a time period was studied experimentally. The principles of using conical intermediate detonators are analyzed. The possibilities and experience of the technological use of the observed phenomena in geoengineering are considered.
