Modeling the Development of the Gas Industry with Uncertain Information About Natural Gas Resources

A model has been proposed that can be used to forecast the development of the gas production industry, even with limited information on the prospects for the development of fields and natural gas reserves. This model is based on taking into account various options for the development of existing fields, using approximation dependencies that take into account the volumes of potential annual production obtained through the implementation of measures and technologies to improve gas recovery efficiency. In addition, the model takes into account statistical information on the distribution of new fields by reserves and depths with the corresponding costs of their development.
