Perov Contraction Mappings

In this chapter, we study contraction mappings of Perov type in a generalized complete metric space. We show that these mappings possess a unique fixed point which attracts all (inexact) iterates of the mapping uniformly on bounded sets. We study the convergence of exact iterates as well as the asymptotic behavior of inexact iterates under the presence of computational errors.
