Intelligent Monitoring Targets Using Visible and Infrared Sensors on UAV

The unmanned air vehicle (UAV) demonstrates its prowess in capturing visual data within specific target domains and employing advanced algorithms, often grounded in deep learning or computer vision, to detect and estimate the geospatial coordinates of targets. UAV-based target monitoring, including detection and localization, come with numerous advantages, such as panoramic views, operational versatility, and compatibility with cutting-edge algorithms. Moreover, the fusion of visible and infrared imagery further enhances target detection and discrimination, even in varied environmental conditions. The fusion of dual-light technology with UAVs is introduced as a resilient and flexible framework for target detection and localization. This paper posits that this integration effectively harnesses the inherent strengths of both technologies, resulting in a proficient framework for target monitoring across diverse scenarios. We assert that the amalgamation of dual-light technology and UAVs optimizes their inherent capabilities, offering a robust and adaptable framework for precise target detection and localization across a spectrum of scenarios. The experimental results presented herein validate the efficacy of this approach in detecting and localizing targets under challenging conditions encompassing both infrared and visible imaging.
